Division of Nursing
We cultivate nurses who can properly handle both disaster preparedness and disaster mitigation activities.
These nurses must be capable of identifying and responding to various local issues with a sensitivity to changing times and the needs of society.
Fostering nurses with sophisticated clinical skills as a foundation, the Tachikawa Faculty of Nursing aims to produce nurses who are trusted in their communities to provide the very best health services to people living anywhere and in any circumstances. Nurses are also trained to take leadership roles as response coordinators in disaster preparedness and disaster mitigation activities. Further, they are given the skills to act in accordance with an international perspective in large-scale disasters spanning a wide area.
