In order to train “tomorrow’s nurses” who will sustain the future of Japanese healthcare, public health, and welfare, the Higashigaoka Faculty of Nursing aims to develop three key abilities in its graduates: practical nursing skills, self-awareness, and career development potential.
Higashigaoka Faculty of Nursing
Division of Nursing
We cultivate nurses who have mastered the basic principles of nursing practice, autonomy in a professional position, and the practical nursing skills to sustain the future of healthcare, public health, and welfare, while making a contribution to the further development of nursing and nursing science.
The nurse is a key player in team medicine and has the closest personal connection with patients and their families . Drawing on the National Hospital Organization network, the Higashigaoka Faculty of Nursing produces nurses who have proven practical nursing skills and are equipped to shape the future of nursing. We aim to cultivate “tomorrow's nurses” who have the practical nursing skills to provide advanced clinical treatment and who can think, decide, and act independently.
